A representative of our company will transfer you to the Pavas airport to take a domestic flight to Manuel Antonio.

Upon arrival you will be transferred to the Hotel Parador Resort.

The Quepos region offers the best inshore and offshore fishing throughout the year.

Return to San Jose first to Sierpe in a 25 mile boat ride and then take the domestic flight from Palmar Sur airport to the capital city. At arrival to San Jose, a private shuttle will be waiting you to transfer you to Guanacaste to Hotel Ocotal. Ocotal Beach Resort is a small luxurious hideaway where visitors relax and enjoy the marvels of the Pacific Ocean in year round summer weather.

Full Day Fishing!

The fertile fishing grounds of the Gulf of Papagayo, provides year round action for approximately 25 varieties of sportfish.  Although most famous for its sailfishing from April through September, these same waters produce great marling catches almost every month of the year.
During peak months, Ocotal boats regulary raise 10 to 20 sailfish each day. But sails are caught year round averaging 1 to 2 sails raised per day from October through March.
Boat crews are experienced to assist light tackle and fly fishermen challenge these 100 pound plus fish.
The Gulf of Papagayo´s marlin fishing is recognized as some of the finest in the world. Black marlins are caught all months of the year with the best chances from May through August. For blue marlin, ones again our waters are considered some of the finest in the world. Seen year round most catches are made during December, January, February, March and April.
The rare striped marlin is also occasionally catch in our waters.
Apart from billfish, probably the most sought after prey for the sport fishermen is the roosterfish. More trophy-size roosters are taken from waters around Ocotal than any place in the world. Generally taken on live bait, 40 to 60 pound roosters can be taken with amazing certainty year round. Other popular sport fishes include Dogtooth Snapper, Wahoo, Dorado and Yellow Fin Tuna.

With Costa Rica's most experienced Pacific Coast skippers, all crews are both professional and accommodating loaded with a life time of local fishing knowledge, but eager and willing to try new different techniques.
